NOV 6 / 8 pm at La Peña Cultural Center

RED DIVAS is a collective of eight women, which include professional and amateur dancers, singers, performers and visual artists. The collective has been working for almost six months producing this show. A sneak peek of the show was presented at La Galeria de la Raza this past June with great success.

The show of Nov 6th will involve eight glamorous, beautiful women with a wide range of routines that include: sensual songs; frisky dances; latina-spiced belly dancing; spectacular tango; Colombian performance with “Peruvian Cajon” sound; visuals & dance; the shy, shaky, unbelievable dancer; and our sensual dancer to top the show off!

RED DIVAS: Maria Loreto Ramirez, Rayma Salas, Johanna Suarez Sandra Elisa Loofbourow. Laila Espinoza, Brigette Iarrusso, Mariela Herrera.

Guest artists: Maria Molina, Carmen Roman, Rosa los Santos

Brigette Iarrusso

Brigette is an educator, activist, aspiring actress and novice burlesque performer. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a group of inspiring, nurturing and fabulously sexy artistes. She hopes to do justice to Ms. Peggy Lee and evoke fun, funny and sexy burlesque performances of another era combining her passion for comedy and the classic strip tease. Keep your eyes open and pay attention, or you might not know when Brigette is performing!
